Before I describe it, let me say I bought it brand new and like all RVs it had issues. However!! I addressed them immediately, all was covered under warranty, and all is working well at this point.
I've stayed at nice RV parks, boondocked here and there, and parked in friend's driveways with it. I tow it with my Dodge Journey that has a V-6 and it's super easy to get around with it.
I upgraded several things including a nice pull down kitchen faucet, a top quality water pump (the one from the factory was junk!), shower was taken apart and professional plumbing done, etc.
There were two bunks (the model number is 177bh) but I had a carpenter friend cut half of the top bunk to create shelves and he lowered the high wall that held the top bunk.
It is much more open now and is ready to be customized for a few options:
+ It could be used for an office, outside the house for better focus on your work.
+ If I had a home, I'd keep it and Airbnb it, make myself some money! Check out that site and see the nightly rates for renting a camper, or glamping, etc
lots online about it. Very profitable.
+ Or I'd have it as a guest room for visitors when I wasn't airbnb-ing it!
+ Of course, as is, it's ready to tow it and travel. It will sleep 3 since it still has one of the bunks. It's got a bathroom with shower, two burner propane stove, space for a microwave or use for storage, a very comfy full size mattress, tv (a Vizio flat screen, older, but works great) a few cupboards, kitchen sink, and of course the a/c is super cold!!
It has a very small space heater that we used down to 28 degree weather and it was plenty warm. But it does have a propane heater from the factory. We just never needed to use it. Interior is a little over 6 feet tall so we could stand up and move around pretty easily because of that and also because of the modifications we made to it.
Storage compartment underneath front of trailer, opens from both sides, goes all the way under front of trailer. The tires, including spare, always kept covered, in excellent condition. 20 pound propane tank mounted on hitch area, lasted us pretty long, costs about $20 to refill, once a month or 6 weeks, depending on how much you cook and shower in it, wash dishes....
I worked out all the bugs for you on this trailer! It was thousands of dollars for all the work and all the accessories needed for the camper itself, all new and in excellent condition, Included in the price. I'll even include the 6 foot aluminum ladder and the blower, which are both great to have for a camper, easy to stow, makes keeping your camper and site clean a lot easier!
This camper is ready for a new home, ready for traveling if that's why you want a travel trailer. If you are looking to do something unique with it, it's ready for that too!
I'll attach a photo of the outside. You can go online and look at photos of the inside on one of the dealership sites.
Coachman is the manufacturer, Independence Trail 16 foot travel trailer, 177BH is the model.
Keep in mind the upgrades mentioned if you look at the photos online.
If you are inquiring seriously, call me and I will text you some photos of the interior.
Sorry, I can't answer texts because way too many scammers, so Phone Calls Only.
Has a Lot of potential!! I unfortunately ran out of time and money to continue. Hopefully someone else will want to take it from here.
It's a good price, considering all the upgrades and accessories that come with it.
