As previewed earlier this week, Klara, the minor division Gym Leader from Galar, is making their Pokémon Masters EX debut today alongside the new Isle Disciples, Arena Tycoon Story Event. The game's app logo has also received a Klara and Avery themed makeover.
Story Event: Isle Disciples, Arena Tycoon
In this new story event, Klara, Avery, and Greta all arrive on Pasio, and quickly form a team together to challenge the Battle Villa, only to fall apart due to infighting. This event is available in-game now, and will continue until July 30th, at 10:59pm (PDT).
By completing battles during this event, players can earn Event Voucher O items, which can be exchanged for a variety of valuable items, including a 5★ Scout Tickets, a Sprint Move Candy Coin, Special Skill Feathers 39 and 40, Lucky Cookies for Klara & Slowbro, Avery & Slowking, and Greta & Breloom, Skill Items, and custom Sync Orbs for Klara & Slowbro, Avery & Slowking, and Greta & Breloom. Players can also take on event missions to earn Event Medals, as well as additional Gems, Battle Points, and 1 each of Strike, Tech, and Support Move Candy Coins.
As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:
- : +60% (×1.6) bonus rewards
- All other sync pairs with the Galar or Hoenn Theme Skills: +20% (×1.2) bonus rewards
These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Klara & Slowbro, and two other pairs with either the Galar or Hoenn Theme Skills would grant a combined +100% (×2.0) rewards.
Players should also note the following when playing this event:
- The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT).
- To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
- The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
- All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
- Leftover Event Voucher O items will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per item at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes
Log-in Bonus
The Isle Disciples, Arena Tycoon event includes a log-in bonus over 14 days. Players can receive these bonuses up until July 28th, at 10:59pm (PDT), so even if you're a couple of days late starting the event you'll still have the chance to receive all of the available gifts.

Klara & Slowbro make their Pokémon Masters debut in this limited-time Poké Fair Scout alongside the launch of the Isle Disciples, Arena Tycoon Story Event. This scout is available in-game now, and will run through to August 6th at 10:59pm (PDT). As normal for Poké Fair Scouts, 5★ sync pairs have a 10% chance of appearing in this scout. This Poké Fair Scout also includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.
Players will also receive 4× strike Roll Cake Coin and 4× 5★ Power-Ups each time they pair up with Klara & Slowbro through this scout, up to a maximum of 5 times.
This Fair-Exclusive Poison-type Tech Role Sync Pair are being released with an expanded sync grid, the ability to be raised to 6★ EX, and the ability to unlock a Strike (Special) EX Role when raised to 6★ EX. Raising the pair to 6★ EX also unlocks an alternative Purple and Pink outfit for Klara, inspired by Slowbro, as well as a new song in the Jukebox.
Klara & Slowbro's Full-Course Feast of Venom passive skill increases their Physical Moves ↑ Next effect by 1 rank when it successfully attacks with Poison Jab, and their Special Moves ↑ Next effect by 1 rank when it successfully attacks with Sludge Bomb. Either of these effects satisfies the Activation Condition for their Poisonous Shell Side Arm Buddy Move, which changes to doing Physical or Special damage depending on which effect is currently active, and applies a different set of buffs and debuffs depending on that damage category.
