Effective at keeping out both drafts in the winter and heat in the summer.
Curtains with heading tape allow you to hang the curtain directly on the curtain rod using the rod pocket or tabs. You can also hinge the curtain onto a track rail using gliders and hooks.
Using gliders and hooks usually creates a more formal and dressed-up feel, where hardware is not visible.

Absolutely Stunning and 100% BlackoutCindyI bought 3 pairs in gray for my bedroom. They are absolutely 100% blackout if you hang them correctly. You need to hang higher and wider than your window. I bought pinch pleat hooks and rings from Amazon and watched a YouTube tutorial, the process was so simple. They are also a tremendous value, I've been pricing decent curtains and I couldn't buy 1 panel for less than than what I paid for 3 pairs! In addition, they are simply beautiful. They puddle effortlessly and they look amazing. I'll be buying more for other rooms!5
Bargain Blackout DrapesToniWhile overall these drapes are performing well I am disappointed with the way they designed them for my drapery rod (pole). The pole goes in through rows of thread rather than fabric. So every day that I open and close the drapes the threads get caught and break as I move the drapes.3
Value drapesMareThick matte material feels a bit cheap but hangs nice, although the top part looks bunched up. Many wrinkles and extra long. Does nicely for room darkening though. Con: hard to open and close using the loops in back method. For the cost, it’s fine.4

The material is sturdy and heavy. I like the texture of it being a bit more silky. The Grey is darker than the picture. When I was steaming my curtains, I couldn't see well because it was so dark lol. These curtains are worth it even though I thought they are more expensive than other black-out curtains on the market.5
